More students with high SAT scores opt for CUNY colleges over private universities

The City University of New York’s comparison colleges are attracting some-more high-achieving students – including some who’ve picked CUNY over tip private schools.
The normal math and reading SAT scores for first-time beginner enrolled for 2010 grew to 1,134 from 1,109 a year before and 1,027 in 2001.
Students with SAT math and reading scores above 1,200 make adult 24% of a beginner class, adult from 11% in 2001.
Students during a Macaulay Honors College have posted even some-more considerable gains, with normal math and reading SAT scores reaching 1,368 this year, adult from 1,264 in 2001 when it initial opened, propagandize officials say.
